After a detailed analysis of your existing practice, a custom business plan is designed and written to maximize patient demand, office efficiency, staff management, profitability and every other aspect of practice management. Four months of telephone consultation is included (1 month before the plan is produced and three months after).  See more below.
 
  • Comprehensive Startup Program                                               
Complete guidance in setting up your new practice with unlimited consulting for one year. Everything you need is covered, including office location selection, office design, advice on instrumentation, staff management, office policies, setting fees, marketing and much more.
 
  • Hourly on retainer                                                                  
Dr. Gailmard will be available to answer your questions or assist with special projects by phone or email.

The Comprehensive Consulting Program

 

            Includes:

  • Practice Data Survey (PDS) provided for client completion
  • Careful practice analysis and comparison with industry norms and best practice operations
  • Telephone conferences with Dr. Gailmard
  • A written Comprehensive Practice Report (CPR) is produced for the client, which is a summary of the key strengths and weaknesses of the practice
  • A customized Management Action Plan (MAP)  is developed for the client to use as a roadmap for navigating the practice to future growth and financial success
  • Unlimited email follow-up support for three months
  • All services are provided by Neil B. Gailmard, OD, MBA, FAAO

Management Action Plan (MAP)

 

Your Management Action Plan is a custom-written document that is typically over 60 pages.  It will contain the best strategies available to take your practice to a new level of productivity and profitability in the shortest time possible.  Dr. Gailmard will provide you with proven techniques with the same real-world practicality that he’s become so well known for in his management articles and lectures.  These techniques have been developed by studying practice management for 25 years, testing the concepts in practice, observing other eye care practices, and through formal MBA training.  Many techniques will be trade secrets that are in use by Gailmard Eye Center, one of the most successful optometric practices in the nation.  As a client of Gailmard Consulting, you’ll have full access to the proprietary methods that are in use in Gailmard Eye Center, one of the largest independent private optometric practices in the country.  Dr. Gailmard does far more than just provide you with a written document; he’ll coach you on how to implement your MAP strategies in a successful manner.

 

 

Teleconsulting

 

Gailmard Consulting uses the concept of teleconsulting as the basis for its services.  This unique approach saves the client thousands of dollars by not requiring time consuming and expensive travel for an on-site practice visit.  Yet, the Gailmard Success System is a customized, one-on-one service that is second to none.  By using our proprietary Practice Data Package, the client is guided through an easy process of supplying all the information needed to analyze the practice.  Gailmard Consulting then brings real world optometric experience and formal business training to the project like no other firm in existence today. 

 

 

Follow-up consulting

 

Dr. Gailmard will be with you every step of the way as you implement your new strategic plan.  Your questions will be answered as you brainstorm new ideas and put them into action.  Four months of unlimited phone and email consulting are included in your project, and additional ongoing assistance is available as needed.  Additional consulting fees will be quoted on a per case basis.

 

 

Confidentiality

 

You have Dr. Gailmard’s personal pledge and guarantee that all information provided to Gailmard Consulting will always remain completely confidential.  You can be certain that none of your practice data will ever be used or shared with others in any way.

 

 

Services not provided

 

Gailmard Consulting does not work in the areas of partnership agreements or practice appraisals.  Referrals to consultants in these areas is available if needed.
